Description
The Philodendron White Wizard is a rare plant. The beautiful white variegation on the leaves in contrast with the green leaves makes this plant a real asset for the plant collector. This houseplant is very similar to the Philodendron White Princess and Philodendron White Knight, but is distinguished by green stems with an occasional white stripe. The Philodendron White Princess has pink parts in the stems and the White Knight has brown/purple parts in the trunk.
Because of its tropical background, the Philodendron White Wizard likes to be in a place with high humidity. You can maintain this by placing a bowl of water under your plant or – even better – with a humidifier. Because this water evaporates, your Philodendron White Wizard benefits from a higher humidity.
Place this special houseplant in a spot with indirect sunlight. The Philodendron prefers to be in partial shade. However, too little light can cause the variegation to become less present. Keep the soil moist. It is important that the soil mix is very airy, so that the roots have enough room to grow.
