Description

The String of Hearts plant (Ceropegia woodii) is a hanging plant with heart shaped leaves. Whilst this is a mini plant, the Ceropegia woodii is a very fast grower. The vines can easily reach a length of 1 meter. The plant is very easy to care for, as the String of Hearts plant is in fact a succulent. It can store quite a bit of water in its leaves, so it won’t mind if you forget to water it every once in a while.

The Ceropegia woodii thrives in a very light or sunny spot. You could also place it in partial shade, but this can cause the beautiful pattern on the leaves to fade. The String of Hearts requires little water. A little splash once a week is sufficient, and during winter it’ll require even less. Make sure the potting soil dries out before watering the plant again. Never give a large amount of water in one go; it’s best to give just enough to moisten the potting soil.
