Description
The Maranta Leuconeura ‘Fascinator Tricolor’ is known for its striking foliage. The various green colours in combination with the bright pink veins are a sight to behold. The Maranta species has several nicknames, one of which is ‘prayer plant’. This name refers to the movements it makes throughout the day: it opens its leaves in the morning to catch sunlight, and it’ll fold the leaves upwards in the evening. This movement is quite similar to that of praying hands, which resulted in its nickname.
Place the Maranta Leuconeura ‘Fascinator Tricolor’ in a semi shady spot, clear of direct sunlight. Make sure the potting soil is always mildly moist, but not wet. It’s best to water the plant regularly, and to give small amounts of water each time. Just enough to moisten the potting soil.
