The Banana plant (Musa Tropicana) is native to Asia, where it can grow up to 20 meters high! This Musa will fortunately remain more compact, but with proper care it can grow very fast during spring and summer.
The Banana plant consists of about 80% water, and therefore requires regular watering and a high humidity. Place the Banana plant in a light spot, in filtered sunlight. Make sure the potting soil is always mildly moist, but not wet. It’s best to water the plant regularly, and to give small amounts of water each time. Just enough to moisten the potting soil. We also recommend regularly misting the leaves to maintain a high humidity.
