Description
The Syngonium Red Spot Tricolor should not be missing in the collection of the more experienced plant collector. The leaves have a beautiful variety of up to three colors: pink, mint green and bright green. This Syngonium is still small, but this faster grower will soon take on a larger size. As the plant matures, you will see the leaves change in shape. These are triangular at first, and eventually change to three separate leaves next to each other.
The Syngonium Podophyllum grows in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. This plant is both a creeper and a climber. It attaches itself to almost any surface with its aerial roots. You can therefore attach the plant to a climbing pole or simply let it run its course.
The Syngonium Red Spot Tricolor likes high humidity. Therefore, place the plant under a bell jar or in a greenhouse. Place this houseplant in a spot with a lot of indirect light. If the spaces between leaves increase in size, this is a sign that the plant is too dark. Keep the soil slightly moist. It is better to water small amounts a few times a week, than a lot at once.
